Walking
The Pitkin County Library is located at 120 N Mill St in Aspen. From Rubey Park, walk south on Mill Street for approximately three and a half blocks. The library will be on your left. This is a free and straightforward way to reach the library if you are already in downtown Aspen.
Public Transport
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides free bus service within Aspen. Take any RFTA bus to Rubey Park, which serves as a central transfer point. From there, walk three and a half blocks downhill on Mill Street to reach the library. Regional RFTA routes are free for seniors 65+ with valid photo ID. Youth ages 6-18 can ride regional RFTA buses for $1.
Parking
If driving, long-term parking is available in the Rio Grande Parking Garage below the library. The rate is $2 per hour, with a daily maximum of $12. There are also two 15-minute parking spots available on Mill Street for quick visits. Residential street parking is free for the first two hours. Be aware that parking regulations are actively enforced.
