Walking
From downtown Boulder (e.g., Pearl Street Mall), walk west on Mapleton Avenue. Mapleton Avenue turns into Sunshine Canyon Drive. The Centennial Trailhead is on the right, just past 4th Street. Cross Sunshine Canyon Drive to reach the Mount Sanitas Trailhead. The walk is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20-25 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Boulder Transit Center, take the SKIP, 208, or Y bus routes to the Broadway and Mapleton stop. From there, walk or bike west on Mapleton Avenue for approximately nine blocks to the Centennial Trailhead. Cross Sunshine Canyon Drive to reach the Mount Sanitas Trailhead. A single bus fare is $3.00.
Driving
From downtown Boulder, drive west on Mapleton Avenue, which turns into Sunshine Canyon Drive. The Centennial Trailhead parking lot is on the right, just past 4th Street. Parking is free, but the lot fills up quickly, especially on weekends. Additional street parking is available along Mapleton Avenue and Sunshine Canyon Drive.
