From Denver, take US Highway 285 south to Shaffers Crossing, approximately 6 miles west of Conifer. Turn north onto Elk Creek Road and follow the signs for 1.5 miles to the park entrance. Be aware that the Lazy V parking lot often fills up early on weekends. Consider using other parking areas within the park. A daily vehicle pass costs $10-$12.
