After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the entrance of the Animas Mountain trailhead, which is near the intersection of Animas View Dr and 32nd St. From there, you can follow the trail signs leading to Dalla Mountain Park.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Durango. Start your journey on the Animas River Trail, which runs along the river. Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection with 32nd St. Turn left onto 32nd St, and continue until you reach Animas View Dr. Turn right onto Animas View Dr, and follow the signs towards the Dalla Mountain Park trailhead. The total biking distance is approximately 3 miles and should take about 15-25 minutes depending on your pace.

For those who enjoy walking, start from downtown Durango and head west towards the Animas River Trail. Walk along the trail, enjoying the scenery. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with 32nd St and then turn left. The total walking distance is about 3 miles and will take approximately 1 hour.
