    Walking

    If you are starting from the Durango Transit Center, exit the center and head east on 8th St toward Main Ave. Turn right onto Main Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. The Durango Welcome Center will be on your left at 802 Main Ave.

    From the historic downtown area, locate 8th St. Walk south until you reach Main Ave. Turn left onto Main Ave and walk about 0.3 miles. The Durango Welcome Center will be on your left at 802 Main Ave.

    Biking

    If you are renting a bike, start from the Animas River Trail. Head south on the trail until you reach 3rd St. Turn left onto 3rd St and then right onto Main Ave. Continue north for about 0.5 miles and the Durango Welcome Center will be on your right at 802 Main Ave.

    Public Transport

    Catch the local bus at any of the designated Durango Transit stops. Ensure you take a bus heading towards the downtown area. Get off at the Main Ave & 8th St stop. From there, walk south on Main Ave for a short distance, and the Durango Welcome Center will be on your left at 802 Main Ave.
