Walking
The Kit Carson County Carousel is located at the Kit Carson County Fairgrounds in Burlington. From most points in Burlington's center, the carousel is easily accessible by foot. From the intersection of Rose Avenue and 14th Street, head north on 14th Street, then turn right onto Colorado Avenue. The carousel will be on your left, within the fairgrounds. There is no cost to enter the fairgrounds.
Public Transport
Burlington offers public transportation within the city limits via the Outback Express. The cost is minimal, around $0.25 per ride. Call 719-340-5012 to schedule a ride. The Outback Express operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Driving
The Kit Carson County Carousel is located at 815 N 15th St, Burlington, CO 80807. From I-70, take exit 437 for Burlington. Head south on CO-385/US-24. Turn left onto 15th Street. The Kit Carson County Fairgrounds will be on your right. Parking is typically free at the fairgrounds, but may be limited during events.
