Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from any location in Eastern Plains, take US-287 N towards Denver. Continue on US-287 N until you reach I-70 W. Merge onto I-70 W and follow it for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 283A to merge onto I-225 S toward Aurora. Continue on I-225 S for about 5 miles. Take exit 6B for Parker Road/CO-83 S. Merge onto S Parker Rd and continue for about 1 mile. Cherry Creek State Park will be on your left at 4201 S Parker Rd, Aurora, CO 80014.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cherry Creek State Park using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop that services the RTD (Regional Transportation District) routes. You may need to take a bus to a major transfer point such as the Peoria station. From there, take the RTD light rail (line R) towards the Lincoln station. Get off at the Dayton station.
