If you are traveling by car, start by heading southwest on US-24 W from your location in the Eastern Plains. Continue on US-24 W for about 30 miles until you reach Colorado Springs. Once you enter Colorado Springs, take the exit for I-25 S towards Pueblo. After about 5 miles, take exit 135 for South Circle Drive. Turn left onto South Circle Drive and continue for about 1.5 miles. Then, turn right onto JL Ranch Heights Rd. Cheyenne Mountain State Park will be on your left at 410 JL Ranch Heights Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle for day use.
