Walking
From downtown Estes Park, head northeast on Elkhorn Avenue toward Moraine Avenue. Continue straight as Elkhorn Avenue becomes US-36. Walk along the sidewalk, enjoying the local shops and scenery. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center on your left at 1000 US-36. The center is well marked with signs, and there is a designated entrance for pedestrians.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start in downtown Estes Park and head northeast on Elkhorn Avenue. Follow the bike lane along Elkhorn Avenue, which turns into US-36. The ride is about 1.5 miles and is mostly flat, making it a pleasant journey. As you approach the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at 1000 US-36, look for the bike racks available at the entrance.
