Walking
Start at the Estes Park Visitor Center located at 500 Big Thompson Ave. Walk south on Big Thompson Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Elkhorn Ave. Turn left onto Elkhorn Ave, which becomes Moraine Ave. Continue on Moraine Ave for another 0.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. The Water Wheel will be on your right side, near the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Look for the distinctive water wheel feature.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Estes Park Visitor Center at 500 Big Thompson Ave. Head south on Big Thompson Ave for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Elkhorn Ave. Continue biking along Elkhorn Ave until it becomes Moraine Ave. Keep pedaling for approximately 0.5 miles, and The Water Wheel will appear on your right side. This route is particularly enjoyable as it takes you through beautiful landscapes.

Public Transport
While there is limited public transportation, the Estes Park Shuttle operates in the area. You can catch the shuttle from various points around town. Board the shuttle and inform the driver that you are heading towards Moraine Park. Get off at the Moraine Park stop and walk about 0.25 miles back towards the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The Water Wheel is located just off the trail near the entrance, recognizable by its unique structure.
