Originally founded in Salt Lake City, Utah, Epic expanded to Denver in 2013, establishing a brewery and taproom known for its extensive and diverse beer selection.The Denver brewery features a taproom with a wide array of beers on draught, including their popular barrel-aged beers and sour beers. Epic is known for its experimental approach to brewing, offering everything from classic lagers and pale ales to complex imperial stouts and mixed-fermentation sour beers. Some popular choices include the Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout series and the Tart n' Juicy Sour IPA line. The brewery also produces beers specifically for the Colorado market, such as the Blue Ski Lager and Escape to Colorado IPA.While the taproom closed at the end of 2022, Epic beers can still be found at various locations. The RiNo location provided ample space for national distribution, a barrel-aging program, and the introduction of sour beers.
