Turn left onto CO-135 N and continue for about 5 miles. Look for F227+56 on your right side, just past the turnoff for the Gunnison River. The quarry is located at the GPS coordinates 38.4504, -106.9869. There's no designated parking area, so please ensure you park safely along the road.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Gunnison Valley RTA bus service from downtown Gunnison to Crested Butte. You will need to disembark at the stop near the intersection of CO-135 and US-50, which is the closest drop-off point to the quarry. From there, it's about a 1.5-mile walk along CO-135 N to reach the quarry.
