If you are traveling by car, start from the center of High Plains and head south on State Highway 67. Continue on Highway 67 for approximately 12 miles until you reach Woodland Park. Once in Woodland Park, turn left onto Fairview St. The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center will be on your left at 201 S Fairview St. Look for the large dinosaur signage in front of the building.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from High Plains to Woodland Park. Depending on the service, the bus may drop you off at a central location in Woodland Park. From there, walk south on Fairview St for about 0.5 miles until you reach 201 S Fairview St, where the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center is located. If you prefer biking, you can ride south on the same route as the car. It’s about a 12-mile ride on Highway 67. The road is relatively flat, but be cautious of traffic. Once you reach Woodland Park, turn left onto Fairview St, and you will find the center at 201 S Fairview St.

Walking from High Plains to the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center is not recommended due to the distance of approximately 12 miles along Highway 67, which has no sidewalks. However, if you are already in Woodland Park, you can take a leisurely walk from the bus drop-off point south along Fairview St for about 0.5 miles to reach the center.
