Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown La Junta, head to the nearest bus stop on Colorado Avenue. Catch the local bus heading west on US-50. Inform the driver you want to get off at the La Junta KOA Journey stop. The KOA is located just off the highway, at 26680 US-50. Once you get off the bus, walk east along the highway for a short distance to reach the entrance.

• Bicycle

  If you're renting a bicycle, start from Main Street in La Junta and head east on 1st Street. Continue straight until you reach US-50. Turn left onto US-50 and ride carefully along the shoulder. The La Junta KOA Journey will be on your right at 26680 US-50. Make sure to use bike lanes where available and wear a helmet for safety.

• Walking

  To walk to La Junta KOA Journey from the center of town, start on Colorado Avenue heading east. Continue until you reach US-50. Carefully cross the highway and turn west. Walk along the side of US-50; the KOA will be on your left at 26680 US-50. Ensure you stay aware of traffic and use sidewalks when available.

• Ride-Sharing Service (e.g., Uber, Lyft)

  Using a ride-sharing app, set your pickup location to your current position in La Junta. Enter 'La Junta KOA Journey' or enter the address 26680 US-50, La Junta, CO 81050 as your destination. Confirm the ride and wait for your driver to arrive. They will take you directly to the campground.
