From the center of Avon, near the City Market, the walk is approximately 20 minutes. The route is straightforward, primarily along Walking Mountains Lane.

If driving, the Walking Mountains Science Center is located at 318 Walking Mountains Lane, Avon, CO 81620. From I-70, take exit 167 for Avon Road. Head south on Avon Road, then turn left onto Walking Mountains Lane. Parking is available on-site. There are also two EV charging stations available in the visitor parking lot. Parking is free.
