    From the center of Leadville, head southeast on Harrison Ave toward E 6th St. Continue straight onto E 6th St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto US-24 S. Walk for about 1 mile until you reach the junction with Turquoise Lake Rd. Turn right onto Turquoise Lake Rd. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles. Sugar Loaf Dam will be located on your left along Turquoise Lake Rd. Look for signage indicating the dam.

    Start in downtown Leadville at the intersection of Harrison Ave and 6th St. Head southeast on Harrison Ave, then take a left onto E 6th St as it turns into a bike-friendly path. Continue for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto US-24 S. After 1 mile, turn right onto Turquoise Lake Rd. This road is suitable for biking and you will follow it for about 2 miles.
