Getting There

Walking
From the center of Leadville, head southeast on Harrison Ave toward E 6th St. Continue straight onto E 6th St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto US-24 S. Walk for about 1 mile until you reach the junction with Turquoise Lake Rd. Turn right onto Turquoise Lake Rd. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles. Sugar Loaf Dam will be located on your left along Turquoise Lake Rd. Look for signage indicating the dam.
