Walking
Start at the center of Monument, specifically at the intersection of Front Street and 2nd Street. Head south on 2nd Street towards the Monument Marketplace. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mitchell Avenue. Turn left onto Mitchell Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Highway 105. Cross Highway 105 and continue straight onto the path leading to the Santa Fe Trail. Follow the Santa Fe Trail southbound. After about 2.5 miles, you will reach the junction with Perry Park Road. Turn left onto Perry Park Road and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Sandstone Ranch Open Space will be on your right, just before the address 9605 S Perry Park Rd.

Begin your ride at the Monument Town Hall located at 645 Beacon Lite Rd. From there, head south on Beacon Lite Rd until you reach the intersection with Highway 105. Turn left onto Highway 105 and cycle south for about 2 miles. After crossing the Santa Fe Trail, you will continue riding until you reach Perry Park Road. Turn left onto Perry Park Road and ride for about 1.5 miles. Sandstone Ranch Open Space will be on your right at 9605 S Perry Park Rd. Enjoy the scenic views along the way and be cautious of traffic on the roads.
