Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Monument at the intersection of 2nd St and Front St. Head north on Front St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Beacon Lite Rd. Turn left onto Beacon Lite Rd. Follow Beacon Lite Rd as it transitions into Northwoods Blvd. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Highway 105. Cross the highway carefully and follow the path that leads to the east side of the highway. Continue walking on the trail until you reach the area known as the Monument Preserve, which will take you closer to Chief Mountain.

Begin at the Monument Town Hall and head west on 2nd St. Take a right onto Front St and continue north until you reach the intersection with Beacon Lite Rd. At this point, turn left onto Beacon Lite Rd. Stay on this road as it changes into Northwoods Blvd. Follow Northwoods Blvd until you reach the junction with Highway 105. Carefully cross the highway and pick up the bike trail on the east side, which leads you through the Monument Preserve and towards Chief Mountain.
