From Monument, head to the nearest bus stop on the corner of Beacon Lite Rd and 2nd St. Catch the Mountain Metro Transit Bus Route 38 towards Colorado Springs. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Colorado Springs Depot. Once at the depot, transfer to the Bustang service towards Glenwood Springs. Make sure to check the Bustang schedule for departure times. Ride the Bustang for about an hour until you reach the Cañon City stop. From the bus stop in Cañon City, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, which is approximately 10 minutes away by car.

For the adventurous, you can bike from Monument to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Start by heading south on the Monument Trail, which connects to the Santa Fe Regional Trail. Continue on the Santa Fe Trail until you reach the junction with CO-115. Follow CO-115 south towards Cañon City. This route is approximately 40 miles and may take several hours, so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. Once you reach Cañon City, you can use local roads to navigate to 4218 Co Rd 3A, where the park is located.
