If you are in the heart of Monument, start at the intersection of 3rd St and Front St. Head south on Front St towards the Monument Marketplace. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Hwy 105. Cross over to the other side of the street and turn left onto Hwy 105. Walk along the highway for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Jackson Creek Pkwy. Turn right onto Jackson Creek Pkwy and continue straight. After about 1 mile, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Baptist Rd. After about 0.5 miles, continue straight onto the road that leads to the Palmer Lake area. You will see signs directing you to the monument area. Once you are in the vicinity of the Palmer Lake, look for the statue which is located near the center of the park.

Begin your journey at the Monument Town Hall located at 645 Beacon Lite Rd. Head south on Beacon Lite Rd towards Hwy 105. Once you reach Hwy 105, turn right and bike along the highway. Follow Hwy 105 for about 1 mile until you reach Jackson Creek Pkwy. Turn left onto Jackson Creek Pkwy and bike straight for about 1 mile. You will encounter a roundabout; take the second exit onto Baptist Rd. Continue biking for about 1 mile until you reach the Palmer Lake area. Look for bike paths leading to the park where the statue is located, approximately 0.5 miles ahead.
