You will come to the Monument Preserve entrance. Enter the preserve and follow the trails leading towards the Vindicator Mine area, which is approximately a 1-mile hike from the entrance.

Begin your biking trip at the Monument Library at 1706 Lake Woodmoor Dr, Monument, CO 80132. Head east on Lake Woodmoor Dr for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Knollwood Dr. Turn left onto Knollwood Dr and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Beacon Lite Rd. Turn left onto Beacon Lite Rd and bike south for about 1 mile. At the intersection with Second St, turn left and continue onto Mitchell Ave. Follow Mitchell Ave for about 0.5 miles to the entrance of Monument Preserve. Enter the preserve and follow the designated biking trails for approximately 1 mile until you reach the Vindicator Mine headframe.
