Walking
Start your journey at the Ouray Visitor Center located at 420 6th Avenue. From there, head east on 6th Avenue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue walking until you see the Bear Creek Trailhead on your right, which is marked with a sign. The trailhead is about 0.5 miles from the Visitor Center.
Hiking
Once you reach the Bear Creek Trailhead, follow the well-marked trail that begins to ascend. The trail is approximately 1.5 miles long and will take you through beautiful forested areas with views of the surrounding mountains. After about 30-45 minutes of hiking, you will hear the sound of rushing water, and shortly thereafter, you will arrive at Bear Creek Falls. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery along the way!
