Start your journey at the Ouray Visitor Center located at 420 6th Avenue. From there, head east on 6th Avenue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue walking until you see the Bear Creek Trailhead on your right, which is marked with a sign. The trailhead is about 0.5 miles from the Visitor Center.
