Discovering the Serenity of Cascade Falls Park

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the center of Ouray, head north on Main Street. Walk for about two blocks until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left onto 8th Avenue and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. As you walk, you will pass several charming shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the park entrance on your left, which is located at 598 8th Ave. The entrance is marked, and you will be able to hear the sound of the waterfalls nearby.

• Hiking

  For those looking for a more scenic route, start your hike from the Ouray Hot Springs Pool. Head southeast towards 6th Avenue and then make a right turn. Continue straight until you reach 8th Avenue, then turn left. Follow 8th Avenue uphill for about a mile. This route will take you through beautiful surroundings, and you may encounter some local wildlife along the way. Look for trail markers that indicate your direction toward Cascade Falls Park, which will be located at 598 8th Ave on your right.

• Biking

  If you have a bicycle, you can start from the Ouray Visitor Center. Head north on 4th Street and take a right onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left onto 8th Avenue and ride approximately 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your left at 598 8th Ave. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of pedestrians along the route.
