Driving
Devil's Playground is located at Mile 16 of the Pikes Peak Highway. From Colorado Springs, take US-24 West to Cascade. The Pikes Peak Highway begins just outside of Cascade. Toll fees vary depending on the season. From May 1 to November 30, the fee is $15 per adult (ages 16 and older) or $50 per vehicle for up to 5 passengers. From December 1 to April 30, the fee is $10 per adult or $35 per vehicle. A timed entry permit is required from the Friday before Memorial Day through September 30 to drive to the summit and costs an additional $2 per vehicle. Parking is available at Devil's Playground. Reservations are recommended.
Shuttle
During the summer, a shuttle service operates from Mile 7 of the Pikes Peak Highway to the summit, with stops at various points including Devil's Playground. Shuttle tickets are $35 for adults (16 and up) and $10 for children (ages 6-15). The shuttle stops at the Devil's Playground every 30 minutes.
