Getting There

  • Driving

    From downtown Colorado Springs, take W. Cheyenne Blvd west for approximately 2.75 miles. Turn right onto N. Cheyenne Canon Road and continue for 3 miles to the end of the road. Park in the gravel parking lot to the left, near the intersection with High Drive and Lower Gold Camp Road. The trailhead is located at the back of the parking area, marked by an iron gate. Parking is free, but can be limited during peak season.

    From the Helen Hunt Falls parking area, walk along the Upper Gold Camp Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The road is a sandy, well-traveled utility road. Access to Gold Camp Road ends at a closed tunnel. Take the feeder trail on the left, which ascends up and around to the right, above the tunnel. The trailhead for St. Mary's Falls is a short distance from there.
