If you are traveling by car, start from the center of San Luis Valley. Head east on US Highway 160. After about 10 miles, take the exit for CO-285 North towards Alamosa. Continue on CO-285 North for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 24. Turn left onto County Road 24 and follow it for about 4 miles. Pikes Stockade will be on your right at 22862 Co Rd 24, Sanford, CO 81151.
