Getting There

Driving

Monarch Mountain is located on US-50, approximately 20 miles west of Salida, Colorado. From Salida, head west on US-50. The resort is well-signed and easily accessible directly off the highway. Parking is free and located close to the base area. During peak times, follow the directions of parking attendants to maximize space.
Shuttle

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, a free shuttle service operates between Monarch Mountain at the Crest and the ski area. Park at the Crest (located at the summit of Monarch Pass) and take the shuttle to the base lodge. Shuttles run frequently from 6:45 am to 5:00 pm.
