Getting There

Walking
From Main Street, walk west towards the Blue River. Access the Riverwalk pathway and head south, passing Castaways Cove; the Explorium entrance will be on your left. Alternatively, from the Breckenridge Station, walk left on Watson Avenue, and then right on the Blue River Recreation Path. There is a footbridge crossing the Blue River just after you cross Ski Hill Road.

Take the Breckenridge Free Ride or Summit Stage to a stop near Main Street. From there, follow the walking directions to the Riverwalk pathway and the museum. Both the Free Ride and Summit Stage are free. Check the 'My Free Ride' app for real-time bus locations.

Navigate to the Icehouse Parking Lot (#783). From the parking lot, walk to the bridge at the south end and cross it. Turn right onto the Riverwalk Path, and follow it to the museum's front door. Parking rates average $1 or less an hour.
