Discover more about Bridal Veil Trail

The Bridal Veil Trail provides a dedicated hiking path to the base of Bridal Veil Falls, a spectacular 365-foot waterfall at the end of Telluride's box canyon. Completed in recent years, the 1.2-mile trail eliminates the need to hike along the road, offering a safer and more enjoyable experience. The trail begins near the Idarado Mine parking area, following Bridal Veil Creek as it winds through boulder fields and forests. Along the way, hikers can enjoy views of smaller waterfalls and the surrounding canyon. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, though it can be steep and rocky in sections. At the base of the falls, hikers can feel the mist and admire the power of the water as it plunges from the cliff above. From here, the adventurous can continue up the Black Bear Pass Road to reach the Bridal Veil Powerhouse at the top of the falls and access other trails in the area.
