From downtown Breckenridge, head north on Main Street, then turn left onto Ski Hill Road. Continue on Ski Hill Road until the pavement ends. Just past the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, you'll find a small parking area at the Peaks Trailhead. The Elk Dance Loop Trail begins here. Parking at the trailhead is limited. Consider using the Breckenridge Free Ride bus service to avoid parking hassles. Parking in Breckenridge costs around $1 per hour.
