  • Walking

    From the center of Trinidad, start at the intersection of Main Street and Commercial Street. Head south on Main Street toward E 1st Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Santa Fe Trail. Turn left onto Santa Fe Trail and walk for approximately 2 miles. You will see the entrance to Fishers Peak State Park on your right.

    Begin your journey at the Trinidad City Park, located at 500 S. Animas Street. Head east on E. Main Street and continue for about 1 mile until you reach Santa Fe Trail. Turn right onto Santa Fe Trail and bike for about 2 miles. The entrance to Fishers Peak State Park will be on your right side.

    Start at the Trinidad Transit Center located at 126 E Main St. Take the local bus service that runs toward the Trinidad Shopping Center. Get off at the stop closest to Santa Fe Trail.
