Starting from downtown Trinidad, head east on E Main St toward N Commercial St. Continue on E Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Santa Fe Trail. Turn left onto Santa Fe Trail. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles. You will begin to see signs for Fishers Peak State Park as you approach. The park entrance will be on your right. Make sure to take in the scenery along the way, as you'll have views of the surrounding mountains.

From the Trinidad city center, take the Santa Fe Trail heading southeast. You can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Trinidad. Follow Santa Fe Trail for about 4 miles. The route is mostly flat and should take about 20-25 minutes. Look for the signs leading to Fishers Peak State Park. The entrance will be on your right side. Ensure you wear a helmet and observe local traffic rules while biking.
