Discover more about Frisco Bay Marina

The Frisco Bay Marina, located at the eastern end of Frisco's Main Street, serves as the primary access point to the breathtaking Dillon Reservoir. At an elevation of over 9,000 feet, the marina provides a range of activities, from boat rentals to lakeside dining, against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery. Dillon Reservoir itself is the largest water storage facility for Denver Water, supplying 25% of Denver's drinking water. Spanning 3,300 acres with 27 miles of shoreline, the reservoir is a popular destination for sailing, with regattas frequently held on its pristine waters. However, swimming and waterskiing are not permitted due to the water's cold temperatures. The marina offers various amenities, including boat and paddle sport rentals such as pontoon boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours and sailing lessons. For those seeking relaxation, there's a sandy beach and Marina Park, featuring a playground. The Island Grill provides casual dining with open-air decks and lake views. The Frisco Bay Marina has a rich history, with the town of Frisco taking over management in 2005. Significant improvements were made in 2019, including deepening the bay and expanding the beach area. The marina continues to be a major recreational destination, drawing visitors with its beautiful setting and diverse activities.
