Begin your journey at the Montrose Visitor Center located at 107 S Cascade Ave. Head west on S Cascade Ave toward E Main St. Continue on E Main St for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with N 1st St. Here, you will need to turn right onto N 1st St and walk north for approximately 0.3 miles. Next, take a left onto E Oak Grove Rd and follow the road as it curves. After about 1 mile, you will arrive at the entrance of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. From the park entrance, continue walking along the designated walking paths to Chasm View, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the entrance. Look for signs directing you to Chasm View along the way.
