    Start at downtown Montrose. Head south on S 1st St towards E Main St. Turn right onto E Main St and continue for about 2 miles. Follow the road as it curves into the US-50 W highway. After approximately 6 miles, look for signs indicating the Painted Wall. You will find a parking area nearby.

    If you're starting from the Montrose Visitor Center located at 107 S Cascade Ave, head west on S Cascade Ave towards W Main St. Turn left onto W Main St and continue until you reach US-50 W. Cross the highway and head towards the direction of the Painted Wall, which is approximately 6 miles away. Be cautious as this is along a busy road.

    From the Montrose Regional Transportation Center, take the local bus service towards US-50 W. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Painted Wall.
