Getting There

Car
From any location in the Western Slope area, head towards Cortez, Colorado. If you are coming from Durango, take US-160 W. If you are starting from Montrose, take US-550 S and then merge onto US-160 E towards Cortez. Once in Cortez, follow signs for Mesa Verde National Park via CO-491 N. After entering the park, continue on Mesa Verde Road until you reach Cliff Palace Loop. Follow the loop to the Cliff Palace parking area.
