Once at the ferry terminal, you will need to purchase a ticket for the ferry ride to Ngazidja. The ferry operates multiple times throughout the day, so check the schedule ahead of time to avoid long waits. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour.

For those relying on public transportation, you can take a 'taxi-brousse' (shared taxi) from Bambao to the ferry terminal. Look for a taxi-brousse that is heading towards Moroni, which is the capital of Comoros located on Ngazidja. The ride should cost around 2000 KMF (Comorian Francs) and will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Ngazidja, which typically ranges from 3000 to 5000 KMF depending on the time of day and the operator.
