If you're traveling by car in Mutsamudu, start from the city center. Head northeast on Avenue de l'Independence, then turn left onto Avenue des Forces Armées. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, then take the second exit onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to La Citadelle de Moussa Moudou. There is limited parking near the entrance.

To reach La Citadelle de Moussa Moudou via public transportation, take a local minibus (taxi-brousse) from the central bus station in Mutsamudu. Look for a bus heading toward the northern part of Mutsamudu. The fare is approximately 300 KMF. Inform the driver that you want to go to La Citadelle de Moussa Moudou, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the citadel. Follow the signs indicating the direction to the citadel, or ask locals for assistance.

If you're close to the citadel and prefer to walk, start from the Mutsamudu harbor area. Head northeast along the waterfront, and then take the main road leading up the hill.
