If you are driving to Southford Falls State Park, start by entering your current location into your GPS. Use the address 175 Quaker Farms Rd, Southbury, CT 06488. From I-84, take exit 15 and head south on Route 6. Continue on Route 6 for about 3 miles, then turn right onto Quaker Farms Rd. Follow Quaker Farms Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the park entrance on your left. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of the park hours, which are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Public Transportation
To reach Southford Falls State Park via public transportation, first take a train to the Southbury station on the Metro-North Railroad. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the approximately 3 miles to the park. Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the taxi fare, depending on the service.
