From Bear Mountain State Park, head west on the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP) toward US-6. Continue on the PIP for about 7 miles. Take exit 20 for US-6 W towards Peekskill. After about 2 miles, merge onto NY-202 W. Follow NY-202 until you reach the junction with NY-22 N. Merge onto NY-22 N and continue for approximately 15 miles. Then take a left onto Undermountain Rd. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the Undermountain Trailhead Parking Area at 42.0287714, -73.4289326, where you can park your car.

First, you will need to take public transportation from Bear Mountain State Park. The nearest bus station is in Peekskill, NY. You can take a taxi or rideshare service from Bear Mountain to the Peekskill train station (approximately 10-15 minutes). From Peekskill, take the Metro-North Railroad to the Wassaic station. Once at Wassaic, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Undermountain Trailhead Parking Area, which is approximately 10 miles away.
