Lewin Farms, established in the 1930s, is a fourth-generation family farm that spans nearly 1,000 acres on the North Fork of Long Island. Founded by Dewey and Elizabeth Lewin, the farm started with potatoes and cauliflower and has evolved into a diverse agricultural operation. Lewin Farms is recognized as the first pick-your-own farm on Long Island, continuing its tradition with a wide variety of crops available throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Visitors can immerse themselves in the joys of seasonal harvests, picking their own fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, pumpkins, and Christmas trees. The farm also features a farmers' market that showcases locally sourced fruits and vegetables, as well as homemade goods. During the fall, Lewin Farms transforms into a pumpkin patch with hayrides and other attractions. As the holiday season approaches, visitors can select their perfect Christmas tree to take home. Lewin Farms is committed to sustainable practices, ensuring that visitors can enjoy fresh produce while supporting local agriculture.
