    Getting There

    Bus

    From downtown Bridgeport, walk to the Bridgeport Transportation Center located at 710 Water Street. Take the Housatonic Area Regional Transit (HART) bus Route 9 towards Westport. The bus will take you along the coast and through various neighborhoods. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes and disembark at the Westport Town Hall stop. From there, walk east on Post Road East until you reach Bayberry Lane. Turn left onto Bayberry Lane, and Westport Observatory will be on your right at 182 Bayberry Ln.

    Train

    Start at the Bridgeport train station located at 525 Water Street. Board the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Westport station. From the station, exit and head south on Riverside Avenue, then turn right onto Post Road East. Walk along Post Road East until you reach Bayberry Lane. Turn left onto Bayberry Lane and continue until you reach Westport Observatory at 182 Bayberry Ln.

    Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can bike from Bridgeport to Westport. Start at the Bridgeport Harbor and head west along the waterfront bike path.
