  • Car

    If you are driving from the Hartford area, take I-91 South towards New Haven. Merge onto I-95 South towards New York City. Take exit 88 for CT-117 towards Groton. Keep left at the fork to continue on CT-117 W. Follow CT-117 to US-1 S. Continue on US-1 S for about 3 miles until you reach Depot Rd. Turn left onto Depot Rd, and the entrance to Bluff Point State Park will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there is no parking fee.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are traveling via public transportation, you can take a bus from Hartford to New London. Use the CT Transit line that connects Hartford and New London. Once you arrive in New London, you will need to transfer to a local bus service, such as SEAT (Southeastern Area Transit), which operates a route to Groton. Make sure to check the SEAT schedule for the latest times. After arriving in Groton, you can either walk or take a taxi for the final leg. Bluff Point State Park is about 3 miles from the bus stop in Groton, and taxis are available at the station.
