Getting There

Car
To reach Heublein Tower by car, take Route 44 to Simsbury. If you are coming from Hartford, head west on I-84 and take exit 39A for Route 4 towards Farmington. Continue on Route 4, then follow signs to Route 44. Once on Route 44, watch for signs for Talcott Mountain State Park. Turn onto Talcott Mountain Road, which leads you directly to the park entrance. Follow the park road to the parking lot. There is a parking fee of $15 for non-residents, so be prepared to pay this fee upon arrival. After parking, it's a short hike up to the tower.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a CT Transit bus towards Simsbury. The nearest bus stop is located at the intersection of Route 10 and Route 44 in Simsbury. From there, you will need to rely on a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the park entrance, as public transportation does not go directly to Talcott Mountain State Park. Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the rideshare. Once at the park entrance, you can hike to the tower.
