From Danbury, head to the Danbury Transit Center located at 1 Patriot Drive. Once there, take the Housatonic Area Regional Transit (HART) bus route 5 towards Bridgeport. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Main St and State St stop in Bridgeport. From there, walk east on Main St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at The Barnum Museum located at 820 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06604.

Make your way to the Danbury Train Station at 1 Depot Place. Board the Metro-North Railroad's Danbury Line train towards South Norwalk. After a 30-minute ride, transfer at the South Norwalk station to the Metro-North New Haven Line towards New Haven. Get off at the Bridgeport station after 10 minutes. From the Bridgeport train station, exit onto State St, and walk about 10 minutes down State St. Turn left onto Main St, and you will see The Barnum Museum on your right at 820 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
