Total Mortgage Arena, formerly known as The Arena at Harbor Yard and Webster Bank Arena, has been a cornerstone of downtown Bridgeport's entertainment scene since opening on October 10, 2001. Managed by the Oak View Group, this 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena is home to the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL).
The arena has a versatile floor system, 33 executive suites, 1,300 club seats, and a modern digital scoreboard. It has hosted almost a dozen NHL preseason games featuring the New York Islanders and their rivals. Total Mortgage Arena was also the primary venue for Fairfield University basketball games until 2022. The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team has also called the arena home since the 2016-17 season.
Inside, a Fanatics Sportsbook offers a bar experience with food options, televised sporting events, and live score feeds. Concessions throughout the arena provide a variety of options, including hot dogs, popcorn, and ice cream. The Mason's Bar on the third floor features a selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits, with televisions to catch sporting events.
Total Mortgage Arena is conveniently located near the Bridgeport Transportation Center, making it accessible by train and bus. The arena continues to host a wide array of events, from concerts and sporting events to family shows and community gatherings.

Getting There
Public Transport
The Bridgeport Transportation Center is a short, well-lit two-block walk from Total Mortgage Arena. This center is serviced by the Metro-North Railroad New Haven line and Amtrak, with frequent service to the arena. Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority also provides bus service to the arena. A one-way train ticket from Metro North stations to Bridgeport costs $3 if purchased at the station or $9 if purchased onboard. Bus fares vary depending on the route.
Walking
From the Bridgeport Transportation Center, walk north on Water Street, then turn right onto South Frontage Road. The arena will be on your right. The walk is approximately 7 minutes.
Driving
From I-95 North, take Exit 27 (Lafayette Blvd/Harbor Yard). At the bottom of the ramp, continue straight along South Frontage Road past Lafayette Street. The next street is Broad Street. Continue straight, and the Arena will be on your right. Parking is available in the surface lots and the transit garage. Prices for parking garages may vary. Metered street parking is available on some streets near the arena and is free on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and after 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Ride Share
Uber and Lyft provide service to Total Mortgage Arena. The designated pick-up and drop-off zone is located in the half circle in front of the main entrance, accessed via South Frontage Road. Ride-share costs vary depending on distance and demand.
