Start at the Danbury Train Station located at 1 Patriot Dr, Danbury, CT 06810. Exit the station and head south on Patriot Dr toward the intersection with Main St. Turn left onto Main St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Sugar Hollow Rd. Turn right onto Sugar Hollow Rd. Ives Trail will be on your left after approximately 0.3 miles, at 36 Sugar Hollow Rd. Follow any signs for the trail entrance.
Public Transit (Bus)
From Danbury Train Station, take the Housatonic Area Regional Transit (HART) Bus #7 towards Danbury Fair Mall. Get off at the stop on Sugar Hollow Rd. (approximately 10-15 minutes, check the schedule for exact times). After getting off, walk back down Sugar Hollow Rd. about 0.2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Ives Trail on your right at 36 Sugar Hollow Rd.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can start from downtown Danbury. Head north on Main St, then turn right onto Sugar Hollow Rd. Continue straight for about 1 mile. The entrance to Ives Trail will be on your left at 36 Sugar Hollow Rd. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking rules.
