Walking
Start at Danbury's downtown area, specifically at the Danbury Library on Main Street. Exit the library and head south on Main Street towards the intersection with West Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Southern Boulevard. Turn left onto Southern Boulevard. Continue walking on Southern Boulevard for about 1.5 miles. You will pass residential areas and local businesses along the way. Tarrywile Mansion will be on your right at 70 Southern Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810. Look for the large, historical building set back from the road with a beautiful surrounding park.
Public Transit
From Danbury Train Station, board the Housatonic Area Regional Transit (HART) bus route 7. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Southern Boulevard & Park Avenue. After exiting the bus, walk south down Southern Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. Tarrywile Mansion will be on your left at 70 Southern Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810, just past the intersection with Pembroke Road.
Biking
If you have a bike, start from the Danbury Mall. Exit the mall and take the bike path towards Main Street. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Southern Boulevard. Turn right onto Southern Boulevard and continue straight for approximately 2 miles. Tarrywile Mansion will be on your right at 70 Southern Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810. There are bike racks available at the mansion for parking.
