Car

To reach Castle Craig in Meriden, CT by car, start by getting onto I-91 S from your current location in Eastern Connecticut. Depending on where you are, you may need to take local roads to access I-91 S. Continue on I-91 S for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 17 for I-691 W toward Waterbury. Follow I-691 W for about 5 miles. Take exit 5 for CT-15 S toward New Haven. After about 1 mile, take exit 68 for CT-66 W toward Meriden. Continue on CT-66 W for about 3 miles until you reach Peak Dr. Follow Peak Dr until you see the entrance to Hubbard Park, where Castle Craig is located. Parking is available within the park, which may incur a small fee depending on the season.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus or train to Meriden. Start by taking a bus or train from your location to New Haven. From New Haven, take a CT Transit bus (Route 5 or Route 6) toward Meriden. Once in Meriden, you can transfer to CT Transit Route 1, which will take you to Peak Dr. Get off at the closest stop to Hubbard Park. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the park where Castle Craig is located. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary throughout the day.
