You will see signs for Haystack Mountain State Park. The park entrance will be on your right. There is no entrance fee, but ensure you have your parking space as it can fill up on weekends.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Hartford or Waterbury to Torrington. From Torrington, you can catch the CT Transit Bus #3 towards Norfolk. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 44 and CT-272. From here, it is about a 2-mile walk to Haystack Mountain State Park. Please check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary. As of now, there is a fare for the bus, so have some cash or a card ready.
